Events and Office Management Internship at Wingfield Digby

An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic young company and gain hands-on experience in building a luxury British retail brand.

Wingfield Digby is a luxury, British brand inspired by country sports and the great British countryside. We are renowned for handcrafting real game bird feathers (including pheasant, partridge, guinea fowl, duck, goose and even peacock) into our homeware and menswear designs. We have over 30 stockists across the UK and exhibit at leading equestrian and Christmas events throughout the year.

We are looking for organised and reliable Events and/or Office Management Interns to join the team at Wingfield Digby HQ in South West London from Autumn 2018 until Christmas.

The successful candidates will assist in a cross section of roles, so it is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to gain real hands on experience in a growing retail company.  They will quickly take on a great deal of responsibility and a variety of different roles, so must be a quick learner, a hard worker and extremely responsible.

 Candidate requirements:

  • Able to demonstrate responsibility and initiative
  • Articulate and well presented
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude
  • A reliable brand ambassador
  • Willing to get stuck in
  • Able to work some weekends over big shows with days off in lieu

The interns will take a hands-on approach within the office and events.

For events, it will include pre-event organisation, stand decorations, greeting customers and sales.

Within the office, you’ll be assisting with stock management, order fulfilment, day to day customer liaison, and general ad hoc help supporting the team.

The roles will typically start in September and the initial contract will last until Christmas, paid £1,250 per month.  For exceptional candidates who prove themselves during this time, there is the potential to become a full-time employee.

Candidates: Please send a CV to info@wingfielddigby.co.uk with a brief covering letter outlining why you would like to work for Wingfield Digby specifically, any relevant experience/interests plus brief indication of the business areas you are most keen to be involved with.
