Our founder’s husband, Harry, has headed up the design and development of our new tie range. Constrained by a suit and tie by day, he set about designing a range of luxury silk ties that expressed his love of the countryside. The range are smart enough to be worn in the boardroom and fun enough for Saturdays on the peg. From a distance the ties appear to be a series of formal geometric designs, however on closer inspection it is apparent that each design is made up of wildlife and playful animals.
Having launched at the end of 2015, the range has been very popular so far, and we have now started to received bespoke design requests, as well as increasing demand from wedding parties (for which we offer a group ushers' discount).
Harry has been working on several new exciting designs that will be launched in the autumn, and a number of the existing sell-out designs will also be available once again. The designs are becoming even more intricate and detailed with each new design – so watch this space!
The Final Collection
The silk ties were designed to look good against most popular shirt colours. Harry would regularly switch the background to pink, blue and white during designing to ensure the colours were all complementary.
Harry's keen eye for design was recognised at an early age. His forte is digital design, although many of his original oil paintings were sold for thousands of pounds whilst he was still at school. Harry now works in the City, however he enjoys designing the ties as his hobby and we think his passion and enjoyment in the creations really shines through in the playful designs.
The ties are 100% silk and come beautifully presented in monochrome Wingfield Digby boxes with branded tissue paper. The luxury packaging makes them ideal gifts especially for country lovers. The ties are available to buy online and we will be showcasing the new range at our Autumn and Christmas shows.
